Nice...

This long weekend has been so lovely. It's been so relaxing and laid back. Nice...

Pax doesn't have school this week which means no having to get Grandpa out of the house. Also very nice.

And, yes, even though I have been up since 10 til 5 this morning, I am still in a good mood. I was woken up by a text message from T-Mobile saying I had been sent a picture message (my phone is ancient and doesn't have photo capabilities). You would think that with today's technology that I could have gotten that text yesterday evening when the pic was first sent, but noooo.... However, I was so excited that I actually got to see it, that I won't complain. Even if I did wake up 3 hours early.

I've been battling a little insomnia lately, anyway. But it hasn't been bothering me like it did when I was pregnant.

Everyone send healthy thoughts to E... We made plans for Thursday and I'd actually like to make sure she goes...

Sounds like all is going well for you. Lots of funny, as well as interesting blogging going on in your home. Love Pax's glasses! She looks adorable in them.

And hugs for you guys, too.

E feels like she swallowed a cheese grater. She's also a snot-monster. I'm staying home from work today in an effort to de-virus myself.
Thanks for the good thoughts, though. Feel free to send some Nyquil while you're at it ;-)

    Thanks, Kelly and Aimee...

E- As long as you are healthy by Thursday, dear, you do what you have to do.

E -- Load up on some zinc and echinacea. That always helps me.

L -- Have you tried melatonin? I bought some to help with my sleeplessness, and it works like a charm. Found out recently my dad's been dippin' in it, too, and he also loves it. By the 1 mg dosage and start with one. You can take more if you need to, but 1 mg works fine for me and Dad. You fall asleep like normal with no hangover the next day.

By the by, I got your invite to Thursday. Thanks, and I wish I could come. One of the drawbacks to living out of town with my folks is that I have no way to get to these kinds of things. Maybe on E's next day off, you guys could road trip up here?

D--I've been taking zinc and vitamin C every day for a couple months now. It was working up till now. I think the excitedness of the past week must've jacked up my immune system.

E -- Swapping cooties with boys will do that! :-) I'd still say to add the echinacea.
