What Else?

What else can go poorly today?

Pax woke up at 6am puking her guts out. We all know how well I handle those situations.

She cried the whole way to and from Grandpa's house (I had to go set breakfast out and take the paper in, etc). It made me feel terrible because all she wanted to do was lay down and I had to be mean and make her get up.

Heather was having a shitty day - and when you're friends with someone you share that shittiness. She and I need a vacation. And sex. Lots of fun vacation sex.

Pax got to feeling a little better during the day and went to my Mom's for the evening so I could get some errands done. One of those errands was to buy a new bra. I love bra shopping. At the mall. Don't I? I digress. I went into VS and asked for a couple different styles in my size. When she handed me one, it looked huge. She saw me check the tag and I said that it looked kinda big. She silently agreed and offered to do a bra fitting. I agreed, because, honestly, who is going to turn down a cute chick asking to touch your tits? Kidding... Kinda. Truthfully, I was there because the bras I own were not fitting quite right since I had the kids. I thought they were problematic because my mother does not understand that you need to HAND wash braziers - and she was doing my laundry while I was on bedrest. Well, no, as it turns out, my boobies shrank. A full cup size. I didn't have much to work with in the first place, dammit! I mean, they have been looking cute and perky lately, but still, dammit!

Then, to cheer myself up, I decided to check out the sales at LaneBryant. I love shopping there. The sales rock, the staff is awesome, and no one bugs you 15 times when you stand in the fitting room and stare at your ass in the big mirror for 30 minutes (my ass looks good in their jeans). Anyway, as it turns out... If I lose another 10ish pounds - I can kiss shopping there goodbye. *sigh* Can I just go nekkid from here on out?

Now, for the record, I am an obsessive station changer when listening to the radio. I hate listening to the advertisments. On the way to the mall, and then again as soon as I got into the car when leaving the mall I heard the very beginning of this song (I promptly changed the station). I have heard it in it's entirety once. Having looked it up to blog it, I now see it isn't as "bad" as I had originally thought, but I can't seem to find the right words to express how this song made me feel without making myself out to be a total bitch. I'll just say that I saw too much of me in the first couple verses and I didn't like how I thought it ended. *sigh* I'd prefer never to hear the damn song again because..... Well, I don't feel like getting into that right now, maybe tomorrow.

Anyway, tomorrow seems to be looking pretty good so I'll quit bitching. I have plans to go to a bar with some friends. E just called and she thinks she is feeling healthy enough. Heather will be there. Felix, too. Maybe some others. And I'm really looking forward to the shots in the chocolate shot glasses. Mmm...

If I get over this cold, only to catch the stomach flu from you tomorrow night, I'm totally kicking your ass into the next county...

Oh, and I forgot to say that I totally *hate* shopping for jeans and bras. They never fit like they're supposed to. I'm totally up for going naked.

I would SO help you try on (and take off) as many bras and jeans as you need if you can no longer shop at Lane Bryant. I mean, you know, that's just what friends DO for each other!

    Aimee - Um, thanks?

PS: E and I spoke last night about the possibility of coming to the World Horror Con (I think is what it's called - I was a little schnookered) in SF next April/Mayish. Whatcha think?

D - I wish you could have come!
